The captivating works of Artist Robert Finale flow naturally from a natural propensity for seeing the intrinsic beauty in humankind and nature. Finale’s finished canvases are heartwarming and peacefully enchanting. His distinct style is a colorful blend of impressionistic romance and realistic beauty. We love the historic feeling he imbues many of his works with. They allow his paintings to transport you to a time and place of pure charm. An avid traveler, Finale uses his photographs, sketches and memories simply as the starting point, an inspiration on the journey to the creation of each masterpiece.

Robert Finale’s passion for art began very early in life, not long after he and his family fled a communist-ruled Cuba for the United States. As a five-year-old boy, Robert Finale was seldom without a pencil and sketchpad in hand, sketching everything from movie scenes to family vacation destinations. Robert’s love for paint and canvas medium came much later, when he decided to transform some basic sketches into paintings for his wife.

Many of Robert Finale’s images are first inspired by childhood sketches. Each painting is a journey through beautiful cities in stunning surroundings. They tend to evoke feelings of perfect tranquility in whoever views them. Robert himself, a fairly reserved guy, also inspires similar feelings in the people he meets. Using rich colors and textures, Finale has developed his own rich form of communication with painting. Whether sketching or highlighting, Robert always remains conscious of the fact that art is a universal language as well as powerful tool.

We invite you to experience the pure delight and charismatic charm of Robert Finale’s paintings with Robert in persons this April. As you tour the gallery of fine work and shake hands with the fine person who created them even as a young child, we believe your soul will be transported to a peaceful, beautiful place.
